Changing parts as significant as an intake and / or cams as the case may be totally throws off the tune, hardly an objective test.

However, lets face the reality of the situation here, you never came up with this dyno day to post objective results or "help" these people, you did this to promote your business and try and bash Dyno Flash. It is not a suprise that the fact that at least these two owners have changed parts before your testing, thereby, throwing off the tunes is a fact that you have neglected to mention or discuss.

The reality is that all your power gains that you have made came from running significantly leaner a/f ratios. I can attest that Dyno Flash has tuned over a hundred evos here at Pruven alone and I know of NO reported engine failures from his tuning. The customers should decide for themselves if they are comfortable with your very lean menthod of tuning as shown in your dyno sheets which you have posted in the past.

Ken ,,

im confused..how would you know what customer air/fuel they came in with. Because now that you mention it two of them were 12.5 afr .. and they left with 11.5 .. I dont know how you can come on and say i tuned X car leaner and made more power. Im very confused .. maybe you can clear it up. So lets do some math.. Car comes in 12.5AFR ..and leaves 11.5 AFR same boost .. more power. Im glad you can attest to no problems with dyno flash. The 10 people i tuned had a different story. The point of the dyno was to help people out, which we did ...

after i post up the graphs .. then you can comment on what cars were "significantly leaner " to make power.

Honestly who cares either way. Mark did a great favor to all of our evoM members and that is all that matters. Whether it be to get more business or whatever that isnt the point the point was to make customers that were not happy with there experience with AL happy. And from the sound of it the mission was accomplished. There is nothing wrong with that!

And as far as the cars making more power becouse of more parts. WHO CARES! The real question once agian is are the customers happy? How is the car performing in everyday use? Thats all that matters and if those 2 standards are met then Mark and TT did there job to the fullest. And honestly TT has nothing to hide. They have shown better customer service then any other company on these boards. I have said this once already and i will say it agian " They did not have to do what they did! They seen a problem that AL'S customers were having and they offered to fix it at no cost!" If anything AL should be thanking them for fixing his screw up. You have to understand that those customers still are using AL's product maybe not his tune but still the product. They could have totally gone the other way and went with a whole different sysyem if they wanted to.

Anyway i have been so impressed with TT lately that i have bought multiple parts within the last couple weeks from them just becouse of there customer service they have show on these boards and on the phone.

One other note i would like to post is i have a feeling that this is really AL talking. Looking at previous posts from AL and his word structure and grammar and the way he separates his paragraphs look identical to how your post does. Seeing also that your account is new makes me wonder.

There is a link to one of his posts. I could be wrong but hey makes me wonder. If not im sorry for starting a accusation.

I'm assure you doing ten cars on the dyno for free with out even charging dyno time is not worth this amount of bullshhit.

Ken stop slinging crap here there is no need. Also you promised some dynofash dyno sheets with A/Fs.
First of all here is the original dyno sheet of the guy who later switched to the HKS intake

His a/f is hovering about 11.2 - 11.3 / 1 - this is how his car left Pruven with the Dyno Flash custom tune

Here is his before and after whp and tq sheets

Apparently this is what proports to be his initial dyno pull at Turbo Tricks after he changed his intake for the HKS RS KIT - blue line and - the red line after the Turbo Tricks tune

The figures from the blue line are meaningless as when you change intakes the custom tune is no longer accurate. The main point is that the top dyno sheet is how the a/f looked when it left Pruven

Whats the smoothness factor on both of those different dynoes?? That will make a difference right there. THe graph itself looks pretty accurate if you ask me.

As I was saying last night before they closed the thread. Take a look at how smooth the dynoflash power is compared to the heartrate looking TT flash. Again just my opinion...
1. Safty
2. Smoothness
3. Power
that should be the tuners priority list.

TT is using a smoothing factor of 0 and im willing to bet Pruven is using a smoothing factor of 5. If you have seen the difference when adding smoothing you would know the huge difference it will make

ah, ok first of all key word, mail in tune. Of course it is not going to be perfect, It seems like it is better suited for stock users wanting to achieve a significant power gain, best bang for the buck.

Also if you had a problem you should have took advantage of the free refund option, AL would have been happy to flash you back to stock.

taking your car to the dealer would only void your warrante

My dyno sheets

Please, if anybody plans to use my dynosheets in any of their posts, please don't make any comments that might be construed as me being unsatified with Dynoflash or Turbotrix. I am very happy with the tuning I got from both Mark and Al and I don't want anybody using my data to bash either one of them. If you plan to bash, do it without my unwitting help.

thanks.

The hearate graph your looking at ... the lower HP one is a dynoflash graph.

My list is ..

1. Customer service
2. Safety
3. Power ...

The main point I would like to make is that it is totally false to claim that the 9 people who participated in this benevolant Turbo Tricks Free Dyno was were all having "problems" with Dyno Flash. In fact, if you follow the posts the MAJORITY of them said they did not have any problems or issues, but rather wanted to take advantage of an opportunity for a free tune. Its nasty and unfair that Turbo Tricks characterized the people as people who were "screwed" by Dyno Flash. If you read the posts, you will find that most of the people were just taking advantage of a free tuning session. I don't see Turbo Tricks being such nice guys but rather playing a slick marketing tactic.

Here is an example https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...=100489&page=1

More are posted here on the last few pages https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...&page=12&pp=15

The fact that two of the people changed intakes or cams after they got tuned renders a lot of what they are saying totally meaningless.

no bashing at all just saying what I observe, to discuss what ya'll have to say about what I'm seeing.

but also the dynoflash graph does not include the HKS RS intake, does it?
