UPDATED Wing ticket

Well I went into court today and was found guilty over operating a motor vechicle with limited rearward vision. $346.90 was the fine and an order to remove whatever it is that imparing my vision.

I have lost all faith in the court system, police departments, etc. In the Bill of Rights, we all have the opportunity to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Where was my liberty in this case? I got the long shaft stuck you know where, without lube. Let me ask all of you, When was the last time you talked with a police offocer and he was there to help you and not the city? This is not democracy, this is communism. Police ARE NOT law-enforcers, they are money collectors for the city. I could go on and on about his all day and I won't. just want to hear from all of you out there.

one, two, three... hey, it really does work!

You got ticketed for the factory wing? Fight it...appeals court. It is a factory original piece that is allowed in the USDM. There are thousands on the road...not to mention 3000GTs and Turbo Eclipse wings.

well, what did the judge say when you showed him that the wing was direct from the factory?

There is no way that they can do that. Cars cannot have factory options that are illegal. I could understand if mitsu had a catless exhaust or something (which i know they dont) but this is rediculous. It's like ticketing some dude in an SRT-4 because his exhaust doesnt have mufflers and is too loud. Its a bunch of bull because mitsu wouldnt be allowed to sell the car with that wing without every single owner having to remove it. APPEAL THAT SH*T

I tried to fight it and I lost, hence the fine and the order to remove what I thinking is the wing.

During the proceedings I had pictures of my car and cars that were still on a dealershio lot, I brought in my window sticker that this was not an aftermarket item. I guess judges profile worse than police do.

I'm just waiting to get pulled over for low tire pressure or my car is too blue.

I think you should try to find a nice mitsu rep and get him to come to court with you and state that the wing comes on the car and is there for a reason and does not block rearward vision. then ask the judge how all those tractor trailer drivers can see out their rear windows.

I would tell them to go F--K themselves. Did you show them the users manual, or show them this website? There is no way they can do this to you!

Well think what you want, I believe Fireball has seen my ticket. I just got home form court at 9:30. When I can get my hands on the court report I can fax you a copy if you like.

Holy sh*t! Damn, if I get a ticket like that, then I'm hiring Johnny Cochran.
