this is a load of **** ... if what you saying is that you were punished for something that is STOCK... that is ridiculous and you should look up your local laws, could be a misunderstanding. Simply request a re-trial and explain to the judge with photographs - perhaps MITSUBISHI Brochure with the STOCK EVO WING pictured in it, then a photo of your vehicle. Make it convincing. Wish you the best of luck.

 

If I were you this will be my number one priority. I will absolutely not stop. You are the victim here so fight back.

We all should donate money for this case to this guy so he can hire a lawyer. If every EVOm member gave the guy $10 or so he could have enough money to fight it and we all be safe in the future.

I dont think he needs more than 2K right? thats about 200 members or so. I am wiling to do it if he will fight back and prove to us that he is going to court and he is fighting back.

 

He doesn't need a lawyer for a non criminal complaint, just needs time and the will to fight it. I've found that lots of evidence will go a long way in court. But i'll donate if he has a paypal account.

I would definately donate some money to help out. I'm sick of not being able to enjoy my car with out trying to not worry about making one mistake while driving. I fill like, when I'm in the city around police officers, I'm taking my drivers test to get my drivers liceinces. actually I was more comfortable taking my drivers test then driving my evo. I hate it. I work my freaking butt off to have this car. I'm not as fortunate as others. I'm 19 and my parents aren't rich at all. I pay for my car myself, like alot of others on here, and can't even enjoy my car. it's sucks but I dont care. because I love this car. and the stupid cops aren't gonna stop me.

oh man that is insane... I'd have half a mind to kill the judge for such an outrageous call... I guess it shouldn't suprise me our whole legal system is nothing but a revenue service and has been for some time that totally sucks man

I would try for an apeal maybe even hire a salesman from mitsu to vouch for you.

 

Sent it to drudgereport, it would be incredible if he picked it up.
If someone starts a paypal legal fund and someone else will monitor it, I'll donate $50.
If it was me, I would pay and not fight because $400 < time spent. I'm not a great citizen, I suppose.

 

also its going to cost a considerable amount of money to take the wing off because the holes it leaves in the trunk you will need to get a new trunk etc plus the price of that insane ticket so yea I would deffinately fight it get a lawyer to help you out he should be able to walk all over the court with this case

 

Appeal. Take a picture of an ambulance, a UPS truck, and your car from behind. If you have mirrors on both sides of the vehicle there is no law that says you even need a rear window, let alone a rearview mirror in the vehicle.

 

If there is seriously a fund to help this guy out I'll donate, that's ****ing ridiculous.

 

No kidding, cops here have pulled me over 6 times in 8 months...sometimes I'm "lucky" and they "let me off this time" for doing absolutely nothing wrong...****ers.
