Dude, I aint condoning the sh|t. Local and state governments don't override the laws but they can make them stricter. Look at Utah they have super strict liquor laws, while in Las Vegas they let you drink in the street.

Okay, but I don't think liquor is regulated by the federal government, so states have to regulate it. If there was a federal law on drinking in public, then local and state governments couldn't change it, or overthrow it with their own laws.

OK OK settle down everyone. Take your seats. Thank you.

I have hired a laywer, and will be getting legal documentation from Mitsu per Fireball.

On the whole money part, thanks for the offer but no. OMG I just turned down free money??? The whole media attention isn't for me, I don't need to be Police target #1. If I do it that way every cop will think "Uh, hey this person just beat the system. GO GET HIM!!" When in reality I just bought a different car than most are use to, and are pretty much against.

I'm not the type of person to say "**** the police." My father was a cop for 32 years and have seen what he went through.

dude, you need to call your local t.v. station and meet them down at the dealer and do a story about. Cops hate attention like that and you might get the attention of the right person cause everyone watches the 10pm news.

Red face

It's things like these that just make me wonder what the hell suburban cops really do all day. I live in a suburb of Chicago and I've been pulled over one time a week consecutively for I think 3 weeks and haven't gotten a ticket yet. I swear sometimes I think they're just messing with me. Last time I was in Chicago I noticed the police were too busy actually fighting crime too worry about gargantuan spoilers. Just my 2 cents.

You may be one of the lucky ones on getting your legal fee's taken care of, hence this case is a waste of time in court since the evidence shown is clean cut in your favor and the cop was really just being a jackass.

Make sure the lawyer lets the judge know you want all legal fees reimbursed by the state before he comes out with a final verdect.

I really hate the poiltics behind police forces. Ciatations are just one of those things where if the cop doesnt hand out a reasonable amount of them every month then his supervisor looks at him like their not doing their job. Its essecially a unofficial quota.

I would go as far as asking MMNA to assign you one of their lawyers since its their frickin car and you dont have the skill to represent yourself in court.

Wow, crazy stuff!! I was following this thread for a while and good lawd. I barely drive my evo around here in MD. There is just TOO much profiling, a lot of this is due to the fact that there have been lots of young teenagers racing and killing themselves. I try not to drive it at night, just during the day and I usually stay away from the local cop hangout places. I was paranoid just driving my car to the track yesterday!!! This shouldn't be, we bought these cars to enjoy them and drive them. Its too bad for the excessive profiling, but around here we have to take it! If you really do need some cash, I'll be glad to donate, this is just too unfair.

The ironic part of all this is that your dad gave his service as a cop for 32 YEARS and this is how the system repays the favor...... WOW........

Keep your head up bro......

I have lost all faith in the court system, police departments, etc. In the Bill of Rights, we all have the opportunity to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Where was my liberty in this case? I got the long shaft stuck you know where, without lube. Let me ask all of you, When was the last time you talked with a police offocer and he was there to help you and not the city? This is not democracy, this is communism. Police ARE NOT law-enforcers, they are money collectors for the city. I could go on and on about his all day and I won't. just want to hear from all of you out there.

one, two, three... hey, it really does work!
Well said I agree with you 100%.

Sorry if this was answered, but where was this in Milwaukee? I used to live there. If I remember it was New Berlin correct?
