the USDM MR does NOT have the UKDM/JDM MR BOV on it... it has the same black plastic one like the GSR's

I have this problem without the mr dv, so you shouldn't worry. It craps out sometimes. More threads out there in this forum regarding this.

I think it happens when you modulate the clutch and throttle in certain ways.

I got the new MR, any my BOV is black, not like the JDM one, whether the internals are different that is a different story.

Make sure you installed it right. The BOV should be horizontal with the nipple sticking upwards. Ive had my MR BOV over 5k miles and no issues at all. It holds boost just like any aftermarket BOV. Recheck your install and vaccum lines for leaks.

No problems here either. Seeing as there are people with the same issue with stock valve and plenty of people with no problems with the MR BOV installed, I don't think the stalling issue is the valve. Did I read correctly that the original poster has plenty of mods but no tune?

This maybe unrelated, but I had stalling issues last year until I put in my stainless steel clutch line.

I've had my MR BOV for the last 4k miles and have the same stalling issue. If I gas it like I'm ready to take off from a stop, then suddenly step on the clutch, it'll stall. I'll try turning my BISS to see if it helps.

i have a tune right now for my 286/305 dyno. I am getting a catback put onto my existing mods and getting it retuned. Later tonight i will take some of the advice in this post and try it. I have tightened and checked the clamps as Jimbo suggested. Yes, its installed correctly as well.

At first, i thought the stalling only occured if i put the clutch in and let it out on a hill. Then it did it at a drive through. Then when i pulled into a parking lot and backed up. Its like hit or miss. I can clutch in clutch out 500 times and nothing. Then the next day it will do it.

The first month or so, it died on me a few times. It hasn't died on me lately, but the revs have been going down every once in while when pushing the clutch and coming to a stop quickly.

inariv5573 - ive had no cel with my high flow cat after i got the hks rs suction

i have near stalls with my MR dv. usually going from reverse to first, coming to a stop from higher rpms, and turning into parking spots. it had no problems for the first 3 days but then it seemed to settle in and give a little jitter from time to time. no biggie.
