should I keep stock MR bov
so you guys are saying a aftermarket blow off valve is no good ? why is that ? because i hear that hks SsQ bof is good and so is the greddy type S bof you guys wouldnt recommend them ?
its because when you run a VTA BOV the car does not run right, stales, run rich, things like this. The only way you could run a VTA would be to get a reflash, piggyback, or stand-alone engine management, but even then they're still not really recommended or needed. The MR BOV is just as good as any aftermarket BOV and retains the stock OEM quality.

You can recirculate an aftermarket BOV. Some of them have recirculate kits that have to be purchased along with them for that particular car. Some, like the Type S have flanges designed to make it easy to recirculate and don't need a kit. Others, like a Turbo XS RFL have big *** horns on the end so everybody hears you coming and will squawk all the time, even at just a partial rev in neutral. The horns either make it impossible to recirculate, or are removed or modified with a reirculating kit.
If you want to hear the pssss sound get an open air filter = cone air filter like HKS or K&N, but I don't know if they improve the performance since they allow too much incoming air harming the air velocity. I heard bad/good things 50%/50% about MR valve and I can't recommend untill I buy one and test. Heard good things about Greddy type S BOV. Another important thing to note is that our cars were developed with a recirc BOV, so keep with this config shall be better.

I heard some poepl having stalling issues with moded car, with a MR BOV. Just my .2......but I have the Forge and it still flutters, so what is good. I may put my stock BOV to see the difernce between the 2. I also have had poele have no issue with the MR BOV, but I would not recommend a VTA BOV.
it would be nice to be able to hear the pssst sound when shifting but I don't want to have to modify my intake system. I wonder if
would void your warranty for using a 1G BOV?
