I went to Boost Solutions today. There are 3 cars left outside (including mine) and 2 inside. 3 old engines inside (2 TT's and another bigger one). Everything else is gone. I took pictures of everything if anybody needs confirmation.
I'll contact my attorney Monday. If someone wants to join me in this lawsuit or just wants whatever info I find out, contact me at danleach@peoplepc.com with your phone number. I'm not going give any more information on this site, but I'm willing to do what I can to coordinate helping others that got shafted like me. If there is anybody out there that knows the names of the other car owners with vehicles still there (I think they are also out of state) I'm trying to find a local safe location to store my car (and the others that need it) and I'll do my best to help them. Let's try to make something positive out of crap George pulled on us.

The first step I think would be to check with the local federal court to see if Boost Solutions has indeed filed a Bankruptcy Petition. If they had your options are fairly limited, however, it will yield a lot of information about Boost Solutions finances. However if they did not file - then it may be a situation where there are limited assets to secure and possibly many creditors looking to secure them.

If they did file for BK - then you could get a copy of the complete filing and attached schedules and post them here for all the potential claimants to review and comment.

I can only say this - BK court is fairly serious business and they will not like to be hearing stories of people comming in the middle of the night to take away corporate assets and parts from customers cars (IF that is all true).

Here is the web site for the United States District Court - you physically go to the Clerk's office and review the case filings for free. However, there is an electric serach function - PACER - you can sign up for - info is on this page to electronically look up the data.

Good luck

I'm sure I'll find out more after meeting with an attorney, but, to me right now, filing bankruptcy is just a way to insulate corporations/debtors from creditors. Most of us have extended no credit to BS. Any lawsuit would be a civil matter filed against individuals, including investors for defrauding us as customers. To be incorporated, BS must have had some liability insurance and BS is responsible for the losses incurred because of their actions or lack of action.

Like I said previously, I will take whatever steps are necessary to recover as much as possible of my losses (and hopefully for the others as well). I have time, I have the necessary resources, and I just HATE being cheated.

A corporation is a legal entity that's created in order to shield individuals for the losses or other liabilities of an incorporated business. As far as I know, there are no requirements of insurance or bond to establish a corporation. I don't know but I think BS has no assets to seize or secure against the losses of their clients. I also don't know for sure, but I've heard that George is not available for interviews or consultations.

I hate to be pessimistec but I think that trying to recover losses from George or BS will prove fruitless and expensive. Hell, I could not even get George to fess up and make restitution for my losses even when he still had a business. The chance of him doing it now is probably slim to none. It might be best to just cut one's losses and quit sinking money, time and effort in a hopeless cause.

Still, if any of you guys succed, I'd love to hear about it. At any rate, I wish everyone the best of luck.

SilverEVO8 is 100% correct.

I'm curious why people who lost engines/cars/parts are wasting _more_ money with lawyers and court fees??? Why would you do that when you know the person who owned the company, closed the company, and most likely still has your stuff??

Look, if you lost straight $$, you're _probably_ not going to see it again unless you hire a lawyer and try to find a loophole to go after the guy personally in civil court, which will be hard and cost more money than you lost to begin with.

-BUT-

If you're missing your entire engine, why wouldn't you track this guy down?? I mean, it's the most logical place the parts/engines would be.

Why waste all this time and money with lawyers when you could find this guy, and ask him face-to-face about the location of your engine/parts?? Maybe it's a simple misunderstanding, and all the parts are locked up someplace safe (unlikely).

One thing that nobody can deny is that lawyers take time, and that's something you don't want to waste when you're missing something as vital as an engine. It'll be sold off sooner or later.

I just find it funny all these posts saying "what should we do??" "who can help us??" etc, etc, when it seems the most logical answer is "FIND GEORGE".

P.S. George owned a registered corporation. Finding his name and info is sooooo easy. It would require much less work to find your things this way, rather than waiting months to years for this to be resolved in court. You're wasting valuable time trying to get back your engines in court....... if you're LUCKY, you might recieve a check for 1/2 it's value 2 years from now.

Don't worry, George will be found soon enough. No legal babble needed. I can afford to spend some additional time/money/stress to make sure that anyone involved with this fraud will not do it again 6 months down the road. The idea that we should look to bankruptcy court or expend time tracking down George in hopes of getting parts is just for locals (no offense intended). I'll let the local authorities take care of the legal matters.

I checked the PACER records. Nothing has been filed for Boost Solutions. How did you know?

Boost Solutions car never hit 700 hp mine did!!! George the owner as you have heard has gone out of business and has been put in jail for stolen parts and credit fraud. The engine that he blew up in his car was stolen out of my black evo that was in his shop getting built and tuned. I was unaware of this do to the fact that i live 600 miles away from his shop, and was told day after day that it would be done soon. My car had it all and was supposed to be the fastest evo in the country a long time ago. However every single piece of my car down to the floor mats was stolen out of it by the time I got there to rescue it. Talk about a sad day! Goes to show that maybe a dealership isn't so bad of a place to leave your car after all. I wish I did. Oh well atleast I can tell the Girls I got a cool Evo shell now.

I got this PM from a person overseas. I will keep there name out of this but it really sucks. They lost $6036 worth of parts

Hi,

How are you?

I know that you don't work for Boost Solutions but I really need your help please.

I have been told that George "ran away". I am very concerned because I have ordered parts worth $6036 and he hasn't been replying to my e-mails recently.

Everytime I call the shop it says that the # you are calling is temporarily disconnected.

Do you know how I can contact him ASAP?

Do you have any other # that I can get him on?

Please reply as soon as possible...
