Absolutely not. The Z06 does NOT come with runflats. It comes with specially designed Goodyear F1 Supercar tires (designed for the Z06) that are UNBELIEVABLE. They are totally awesome, and anyone who tells you differently hasn't been in one or owned one.

Gotta love people that live by fake stereotypes and will never experience anything else other than the "acceptable" tiny slice of the performance car pie.

I had a z06 for a while and it is a GREAT car. It's even ok as a daily driver if you don't wear a suit and don't have to pick anyone up or do the meeting thing. For a singler car I'd stick with the Evo...as a second car I'd get the Z if for no other reason then you've never had one.

Not really except for the z06, I see '98 c5 going for below 20k, (sad) But the zo6 cause of its low numbers will hold better, instead of zo6 maybe buy c6?, only 5 less horsepower. The one thing that is hard to determine on used vettes is that there are soo many option packages. the only thing i can say is that some of the old rare vettes are really valuable. My stepfather had a 63 stingray split window. that was a badass car. I really miss it but if he would've waited a few years, he could've doubled it's value. good condition split windows can sell for as high as 100k!, but keep the evo, :better milage, utility, or if you have a vette, make sure it's not your only car.

No. It's terrible. A lot like the Evo's (no offense intended, but we all know it's true).

My '03's sticker was $51k, and it's bringing about $35-36k to the table right now.

wow, that sucks, ship it to hawaii and you'll get at least $42,000 for it, cause that's what i've seen for a few in the area. but then again, every time a new model (c6) comes out, all the old ones drop in value.

Argh! I just don't know what to do I LOVE the Evo, but I love all kinds of cars. Also, the Corvette definitely has a lot more class, which is one thing that I wouldn't mind having again. Coming from the Audi, all the girls would ask me why I got "an ugly Mitsubishi, your Audi was beautiful" and then I'd have to explain the car to them. That stuff really doesn't bother me, but I don't particularly find the Evo a handsome vehicle at all. I bought it purely for its abilites.

One thing that I am interested in, however, is if the Z06 prices will drop like a rock like the C5's did when the C6 came out. Since its a GM, I want to say that it will.

I know. My girlfriend didn't think too much of the idea when I talked about the MR to her. SHe was like "WHY?!?!?.....you have a MUCH prettier car". The Evo has to have a disclaimer with it to a lot of people who don't know what it is. I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing though, ya know? hahaha. It's a heck of a car.

Probably not as much as regular C5's, because it can only go so low for a 405hp Vette that handles that well. "Drop like a rock"....probably not. I think they've already seen their big hit in depreciation. BUT, yes they will continue to go down.

Funny...my girl had the opposite reaction when I got a z06...she has that mullet stereotype in her head...

So Ryan, why do you want an Evo when you drive a Z06? Just curious as to what you find more interesting about it.
