Would you trade your Evo for a Z06?

If i wasn't getting an evo, i probably look for either a syclone or an old m3 (e-30). cause those were the hot cars when i was in high school (1990-1993), and that was what i drooled over. funny thing though even though there were nsx's and porsches around, they never got the attention from us kids the way cyclones, and m-3's did.

I have driven a Z06, although I wasn't allowed to fully get on the car, it had SOO much low end....AMAZING power from 1k to 6.5k rpms. The brakes were very nice. The only thing that was so-so was the tupperware interior and the seats that feel like you are in a lazyboy compared to the Evo's recaros.
What would you do?

I already have a 2002 red Z06 with almost $20,000 in extra mods and 500+ hp. Since I got the Evo a year ago all it does is sit in the garage. Ive taken it to a couple of Vette meets and thats it. Dont get me wrong, its a great car and would eat my minimally modded Evo for lunch. Bottom line though, I have much more fun in the Evo
I had the same chance, used red Z06 for cheap. I test drove it and was almost disgusted that thing is so popular. About the only good thing about the car I felt was the engine gets loud and goes fast. Other than that, there is no communication from the road, totally numb driving, seats that adjust for you? huge center console, totally cramped, it just felt like a big piece of crap. Ok where are my flame proof underwear now...

The insurance for me is more in the Evo. Insurance company tells me that the Evo has a higher rate of claims (accidents, theft, etc). Probably because most people who drive Vettes are older and a little more careful

I've had my EVO now for about 6 months and I drove a Z06 Vette on the track a couple of times.
If the trade was straight up. I'd go with the Z06 any day.
My EVO beats the cr*p out of me on the sh*tty LA freeways. The Z06 seems to be a little bit more compliant.
The EVO shakes and jerk below 2000 rpm, power starts @ 3000, and pulls strongly starting 3300-3500 rpm. The Z06, on the other hand, pulls strongly from what seems like negative 500 rpm to red line (well, maybe 1500 rpm).
Running on California 91 oct **** they can premium here. My EVO's power levels out pretty much beyond 6000 rpm.
I'm getting **** poor gas mileage (17-18 mpg, 80% city, 20% hwy) with this oxygenated 91 oct ****.
I'm hoping I can do a little better after the installation and tuning of my new XEDE piggyback computer, but we’ll see.
With the huge displacement advantage, the Z06 should be less sensitive to the 91 oct gas.
On the other hand, the EVO seats 5, or 4 comfortably, and should drive well in bad weather. The last time I drove a big rear-wheel-drive vehicle in the snow, was my brother’s 84 TransAm, I did a 180 into a snow bank. All I did was lift off the gas at 40 in slushy condition on a slight down slope.
