Does anyone have any information if any US spec evo models will ever offer AYC. Is AYC worth waiting for if it does become available? Thanks.

 

One of the car mags said we dont have it because Mitsubishi wanted to keep the costs down to stay competitive with the Wrx / Sti's. The article didnt say anything about future models though........

 

so if the evo had AYC it would spank the sti?

yes evo ACD an SAYC is much more advanced than the DCCD sti technology.

 

Every test I have seen in a race has the Evo beating the STI... in fact the STI WR1 (The "best" version of the STI.. supposed to be compared to the 300 version of ours) still got wupped by the Regular Evo 8. We dont need any AYC :P I havent lost a race in my class against an STI so far.

 

Sad part about this issue is that the newest Acura AWD sedan has active yaw control but the EVO (US spec) does not!
