Does the center diff release when the e-brake is pulled on our 05 models?

made our model special like what most Japanese companies do? This is some info i'm just curious about so I dont' break anything.I'm actually happy that
brought over 90% of the real evo MR . Subaru brought over a USDM special with the 15:1 steering and 2.5L
. I have no idea what kind of a cost saving STi that is but that is why i'm driving a MR and I actually want to thank Mitsubishi. This post was out of curiousity and not a complaint.

be careful when you do that though .. doesn't mean you can pull the handbrakes and convert it to a 2WD for dyno !!!!!
Somebody did it in a EVO7 and basically blew his transmission ..
The ACD logic only says it tries to release the ACD to be as open as possible .. it did not say it will stay open indefinitely or be totally open
handbrake turns should be okay ..
