There's quite a few pics that have disappeared.

What the heck are "twilight side running lamps"?

And that side shot does look VERY good! Fireball do you have that picture in color?

20 lbs of boost sounds a little high, unless that turbo is really tiny....

OK one thing I noticed about the book is that it says it's the 2003 Lancer Evolution. The recent press releases have already stated that the 2004 Lancer Evolution is to be unveiled at the LA Auto Show. I'm hoping that's not the only mistake in this book... like the frickin curb weight!

No, the 5-point harness is standard with the car.

It'll be funny to see some high school kid, who knows nothing about cars but had rich daddy buy him an EVO cause he heard people talking about it, attempt to put a 5-point harness on. Lets see...insert this here, and that...duhhh...

Oh, and Mark, since you are a sales rep, anyway you can get us access into the Diamond Dealer stuff that the Mitsubihi Academy website links us to?

You think so? That'll be the 1st STREET car in the U.S. ever to be sold with a 5-pt harness standard !!!
And guess what, the JDM evo 7 doesn't even come with a 5-pt harness

Don't keep your hopes up !!!!!

Everything I could hope for except for the rear Rice tail lights.

Any specs. on the 5sp tranny gear ratio???
Please tell me that 4th gear ratio is a shorter then the WRX!

I am assuming the evo will come with standard belts as well as the 5-point harness?

I assume it will be equiped with standard belts. It probably just has slots to add a harness seeing as they are racing seats.

I would bet it comes with both. you can use the 3 point standard belts for every day use, and the snap the 5 pointers in for more "spirited" driving. I know there are kits to do 4 & 5 point that snap into the buckles in the back seat... and the 5th point could just stow under the driver seat with the hub... would be a cool & cheap gimick that MMC could run with...

I think a 5 point harness would be illegal to use on the street. I think it can cause you to use your neck too much in an accident, especially without a helmet and neck support. I doubt the NHTSA would ever allow a car to be sold for street use with one.

I take it no one knows the answer to this?
