here are the pics of the official tech training book
According to the manual posted, most of the colors are 2002. W83 - Innsbruck white, Y01 - lightning yellow, P85 - Phoenix red, T10 - Pacific blue, X42 - Labrador black pearl. No listing for A31. It must be a brand new 2003 color for Mits. So, no light blue
and black pearl

I'm guessing it's probably more red than orange like the recario on the jdm type R and the purple is probably the blueish like on the 7
That dash looks good that way I guess, so I retract my previous worries about the dash.
But I'd still prefer those blue recaros to the orange ones.
I never did like the recaros in the 4 for example. i think those were orange too, weren't they?
Don't get me wrong. I'll take whatever they give me, I would've just preferred to keep the interior dark.
Besides, we need something new to complain about

the seat harnesses thing....
In regards to the seat 5pt harnesses thing.....The text in the manual states "Recaro performance bucket seat with 5 point harness points". That means that the seats are capable of having 5pt harnesses mounted to them.....just like almost every Recaro seat sold. It does not mean, IMHO, that the harnesses will be included with the car.
Another reason I highly doubt the 5pt harnesses will come as part of the stock EVO package is the fact that it is illegal in almost all 50 states to use racing harnesses on the street.
Anyone who knows anything about ameture racing or anyone who has ever entered a track event, can tell you that 5pt harnesses are NOT even recommended to be used in cars that do not have full built in roll cages. Not to mention the fact that racing harnesses, when strapped on correctly, hold you very tightly to the seats. You cannot, in most cases, even reach forward to adjust the radio controls when wearing them. Also if you were in a crash with 5pts, you would not move forward enough to effectively utilize the airbag system stock in most cars.
So unless Mitsubishi has figured out a way to utilize the airbags with 5pts being used, and have figured out a way to make them legal for use on the streets, the EVO's won't have em stock.

Well said SC. If you're correctly wearing the harnesses you definately can't reach anything but the shift knob, let alone turn your head much. Plus, in the event of the roof collapsing from a rollover, you won't be able to move an inch so the roof will end up crushing you're spine.
