How much would something like that even cost? Wouldn't be cheap, I bet....

How much did/would the 03 do with a dyno flash and MBC at 20.5?

This was a TOTALLY stock evo with just the Dyno Flash and a MBC - 20.5 psi

Stock air box, filter exhuast, etc etc

To get these kind of numbers on a 03 or 04 you would need a full exhuast and intake

The turbo modifications on the '05 are making huge power and these cars are going to be going very fast when they start to get some mods on them

IF I had an 03 or 04 the 05 turbine and compresor housings would be my first mods - (and a Dyno Flash too!)

Those are some nice numbers, but....

I would really like to see the AFR's with that as well.

It's good news to me - since I will start modding my car soon. I'm still undecided between going with a flash or a standalone.

I have a specific HP goal in mind - so I think a flash would be perfect, but...

Sometimes you just can't stop modding - and that's when a standalone comes in handy...

Good work!

Now - where are those darn afr's... lol...

Wouldnt the 05 Compressor/turbine housing essentally be a new turbo? So the 05's have slightly larger turbos? Or am I reading that wrong?

Gotta love that torque curve on the STI.

the hot side is 10.5cm in diameter vs 9.8cm on the 03 and 04 models, the compressor sides are the same

The 03 and 04 would be about 275 whp with same mods

Hi,
This is kind of off topic here but my 05 evo mileage is around 4100 miles now and i haven't have time to go service yet. The schedule maintainance is at 5000 miles i noticed somebody said that we should change oil at 3000 so should i still go change it now, or is it still ok to wait until 5000 miles as long as i dont push it?
thanks,

If I were to install a 10.5 hot side would that require a flash change? Other words is it taken into consideration when putting togeter a falsh?

Change it at the recommended 5k and save your money since it is free from mitsu. Trust me your engine will be fine.
