How is this for a deal....

Traded in a 98 ford ranger w/75k on it. They gave me 12k for it. This meant 6k to pay it off and 6k toward the EVO. I got a 5.25% rate thus making my payments only 475 a month.

Performance Mitsubishi in Cincinnati Ohio rocks.

OH NO, not that question again

That's a really poor way to compare since every state has different taxes etc. and you are comparing apples to squash. It would be much better to ask what was paid when taxes, fees, etc are subtracted out to get a pure price number.

32768 all inc.
Apex Silver w/ wing and roof
Got it the 24th of November at Veracom Mitsubishi.

Yes I probably spent about $500-1000 more than I had to at the time, but that price was after talking them down from $2K over MSRP -> MSRP -> $1K under MSRP.

And I wanted my evo right then.

Great! Several posts that tell basically nothing. Everyone should have the exact price, to the very last penny, that was paid for the car alone prior to taxes, license etc. on their buyer's contract. It will of course also list line items for tax, license etc. however those are truly useless numbers to anyone living in a different state.

Why, out of curiosity, does anyone care what anyone else's bottom line number was? What does that matter since it is affected by variables dependent on state of residence?

I'm guessing this is an insecurity driven question. Oh my, did someone get their car for less than I did? Is someone's else's ___ longer than mine? If you truly need reassurance ask what they paid for the car and not for the taxes etc.

28129 (100 under invoice) before tt&t. I really can't understand how some people come on here saying they got theirs for 28otd with cf wing and roof. That would mean they paid under 26 before tt&t, or about 2700 under invoice. so with the holdback and flooring, dealer still looses about 1700. Even with the 1000 loyalty cash, it's still a net loss for the dealer. Maybe they are screwing them over on financing? I still call bs on many of these so called "deals" being had out there. I think people claiming these prices are either exaggerating, leaving something out (ie trade-in), or are 15 and feel special by bragging about a deal they didn't get on a car they don't have.

It would be nice to have a dollar for every bs post that goes up wouldn't it? I believe you are correct in your assessment.

I paid $26,800 for my car. That's not including tags, taxes, and title. I got a white EVO with the carbon fiber wing and the sunroof. Bought it on New Years EVE. End of the year sales kick @ss.

Bought it at JBA of Glen Burnie.
