Tax in Michigan. 6% $2113.32. registration $88. Total financed $32423.32 I have good low credit so my parents co signed so i have a high interest rate. 6.99% Total after 5 years. $38612.20 Monthly payment $641.87 The car is insured through Farm Beaureu Insurance for $249 a month. Grand total per month $890.87. That's how much to basically finance the entire car and insurance. The loan is through Mitsubishi. Yours will vary due to interest rate and state tax and if you transfer a plate. I got a new plate.
Impossible for the loan to be thru Mitsubishi. They will not finance an Evo! I sell them for a living this is how I know...

ASK SMART QUESTIONS, NOT DUMB ONES!

I wish the moderators would lock all posts that are OTD pricing. They are totally worthless to the majority of the world. The only number that has any value at all is what was the PRICE of the car BEFORE taxes, license and all other VARIABLES that differ from state to state!

If you are STUPID then ask people what was their "drive out" price or their "out the door" price. If you are SMART then ask people "what did you pay for your car before taxes and fees?".

That sounds like way too much. How much do they add to that for taxes and fees? You could come get one of ours and drive it back and have money left over as well as a trip out of the deal.

My suggession is to pay off your card no matter what. Credit card rates can skyrocket if neglected. Also with such a high interest rate from the dealer, your payments can be anywhere from $550 and up(depending on the months agreed) And with school and insurance you are going to take a hit. I don't know if you did already but go to mitsu's website and check out the finance calculator. It would just give you a general idea as to what your monthly payment would be based on your down-payment and interest rate. Again pay of your credit card first and then think about the car. Besides by the time you are ready, the Evo 9 might be here.

i went to the dealership a few weeks ago...went in asked how much they wanted....sticker was marked up to 32,500....so i said for that price ill buy a sti (didnt mean it but i knew they woudnt like that) so he said what do u wanna pay.....28,500....and they took it....this was at rt 44 mitsubishi in raynham ma

i learnt a lesson after buying my last car...i went in being nice and tryin not to give this guy a hard time...but i ended up not gettin the best deal...u have to be a persistant assh0le and be ready to walk out when u dont hear what u like

Insurance Cost on EVO

Just for people considering the purchase of the EVO and the cost of insurance. the first year I had the EVO the insurance companies didn't even have it in its computer yet, so they quoted me on a OZ addition for the time being, now with the EVO in the computer this is how much it cost.

Coverage is for, 30yr old male, In California, no tickets, no accidents, no claims, full coverage, with $100 comp, and $250 collision and 100/300 coverage. Cost $1,957 a year. This is through Allied Insurance of which I have numerous discounts with. In contrast, my wifes, 2002 Montero Limited 4x4 costs $980 a year for the same coverage. I have my wife rated on the EVO to lower cost even more do to her being female, and older than I. Just remember to calculate that into your monthly costs. Add in the Prem fuel, and maintenence and you will have a good idea of how much it will run ya. Hope this helps.
