Check out my dyno pull, let me know what you think
Hey everyone, i recently got my 2004 evo dynoed on a Mustang Dynamometer AWD dyno. My list of mods are 255 LP Fuel pump, Hallman MBC, Helix HFC and Downpipe, Greddy Titatium Exhaust catback, Aem Intake, Dyno flash through the mail, and boost is set at 20 psi, i also have a HKS Blow off valve. Ok well we did 3 pulls on this dynomometer and my 2 best runs were 235.9 HP and 242.6 Ft-lbs Torque, My second run which was my best was 238.3 HP, and 257.1 Ft-lbs Torque. Im not sure if these numbers are about right or what not, let me know what you think. I am thinking about doing a SUPER AFC and a bigger intercooler.
Hey man, this is exactly what happened to me with a Dynoflash. I wasn't quite so low, more like mid 250's. I switched my flash to TurboTrix and hit 308. Both were mail ins, and when I got custom tuned by TurboTrix, I added cams and hit 340 (all on a Mustang).
Damn, I am glad to see someone else post about this. It really is hard to believe, but despite all the promises and marketing, the power isn't there (but there is a lot of safety in that tune, rest assured
)

im running 93 octane here, and its cold outside like 20-30 degrees, so yeah i thought those numbers were low and suspect that it might be my dyoflash... I was thinking about going with turbotrix Flash, now that i hear that it worked for you.

i will wait for them but my Q: is who do i talk to, and what do i expect from them. i have works dp,tp,hks cat back ,hks rs intake ,avc-r set at 1.5, afc with BR setting. oh ya that on 05 evo with 10.5 hot side............ thanks man.

wow, one of the guys at our last dyno day beat you with a completely stock EVO. and just like EVOTEXAS said, it was on a mustang dyno. i'll have my numbers this saturday with a completely stock evo going to a TT tune.
i'm not making fun of dynoflash or anything, but you have quite a few mods and your making less power then a stock evo. something is very wrong.

Yeah i thought so to, i called turbo trix hope i can get a through the mail flash since they wont be coming out around my part. They said i should be around at least 26-270 on a mustang 238 is embarassing. TT also said it might be a boost leak, but its not because i have a boost gauge and my boost holds steadily at 20 psi dropping slightly to 19-19.5

What is 340 on a Mustang on a Dynojet? I don't know maybe like 360? I don't know the exact conversion. I am retuning this weekend when TT is back in town since I have added a couple things. I am also going to tune for C16 on my SAFCII.
When I had a Dynoflash I had intake, turboback exhaust (testpipe, etc), MBC and only hit 255 while my buddy had a catback (with cat), intake and Works P2 and put down 264. Very wrong.
EVIL MR, you should call up or PM mark from TurboTrix. He is super cool and nice and does all the tuning on the fastest EVO 8 in USA. With your mods I would expect 310 or 315 AWHP on a Mustang. More on a Dynojet.
