This is interesting, the never assembly uses MN156396
The older part is MN143555

Wonder what the difference is between the two. If you have an 03 then it's the older part.

The newer number porbably has a different pill for the upgraded 10.5 hotside.

Thanks

Damn, the official mitsu dealership in singapore is insisting on MR991632 for the windshield instead of MR991637. Dunno if MR991632 is the Lancer windshield tho...

Timzcat, There should not be any difference between the US-spec and the JDM-spec right? Hence, the model number should be the same... Just confirming...

Ahh, I didn't realize you weren't USDM.
Yes it's probably different. The tint color changes the part number so if yours is clear glass where ours is green the number would be different. I looked around and can't find that number. If I plug it into Mitsubishiparts.net it doesn't come up so it is not a USDM number.

hahaha... I guess i should be more specific... now to remedy the situation that I just yelled at my insurance company for putting the "wrong" windshield on my car

The JDM E8 MRs come with green tinting tho...

Well since the number doesn't come up on mp.net then it is not a usdm number for any lancer any year, etc. so I can't say what windshield that is. If the dealer says it's right then it should be based on how they look up parts based on VIN or year and model.

OF course you have an 04 there is a break point in 04 where it changed numbers.
Best I can tell, based on build date it switched to the new number August 04 which is really the begining of the 05 model year.

how about the stock Fuel Pressure Regulator on the 02-03 Lancer 0Z? its the part that bolts directly onto the left side (passenger side) of the fuel rail.
