Hey everyone,

I did a quick search and didn't really find an answer to my question, so I hope this isn't a total repost or anything... The question is not real serious, I'm just curious about it.

Does anybody know why Mitsubishi puts antennas on the RS models with no stereos? I've seen several on the net and in real life, and I think all of them have had no stereos (stock), yet they have antennas. Does Mitsubishi just assume that everybody wants one and will put an aftermarket one in right away? I'm kind of starting to look for an '05 RS (will probably buy one in a few months), and I know I'd like to put a stereo in mine, so I think it's cool that they put the antennas on them, I'm just wondering if they always do and if anyone knows why. Any info would be appreciated... Thanks!

probably cuz they know lots of people will put aftermarket radios in. if u look behind that panel in the radio section theres a harness right there.

 

Actually all of the wiring is there, even in the doors.
