Evolution's + mitsu = junk

ok now on the 4th clutch and now my transfer case blows with 14,420 miles on the meter. Mitsu is the worst quality made car and to think the EVO be this crappy with all the hype it gets. Now is the time i should have thought to have gotten a STi. My opinion, stay away from all mitsu cars. They claim to have the best backed warranty, BS! These cars are nothing but problems from the door and thats why mitsu is going out of business.

I am amazed that your TC lasted through 4 clutches. Perhaps the car is not the problem?

Sorry to hear man I dont know what ur situation is like but... I know a Kid that used to always complain about his evo and his clutch problems and TC problem and i didnt believe him UNTILL i saw the way he drives i knew why all those parts went down the drain... Now he has a 04 SVT cobra 4K miles and his clutch is going and he melted a piston LOLL i dont know if ur that kind of a person that will abuse the **** out of the car and think that nothing will ever brake There are certain procedures and steps that are involved owning a fast car (especialy when modded). Thank god you dont have a GERMAN performance car with the same problems couse i think u would of been a lot more Frustrated since everything costs 3 times as much as for the EVO's..

bahh.. ok first of all if your complaining of driveline problems problems you either 1 cant drive stick properly.. or 2 are in denial that the evo was never made to be a drag car. It amazes me the people who think they can constantly launch the car and not have problems. This car was not meant to be launched.. its a track car. Theres nothing wrong with turning the evo into a drag car or launching it .. but dont ***** and whine that your having to replace driveline parts because your using hte car for something other then what it was intended.. you put a crappy low quality clutch in that deflected force to the transfer case and now your blaiming mitsu?.. thats why your having problems. The fault is your own not the car. If you would have purchased something like the rps clutch and an HD transfer case there wouldnt be any problems here. I have 50K on the stock clutch and it feels new and the transfer case definately isnt a problem.

Talking what are you doing?

I'm at 14,020 mi's today and as of yet have only had a ABS sensor go bad, that's it!
Let me tell you about my 02 wrx, 6 injectors (four times it went into limp home mode on the expressway), drivers seat back, ecu, ecu reprograming, transmission due to a bucking when taking off (since it was new) and a raw fuel smell that appeared when ever the temp dropped below 35 degrees (it was never fixed). All this occured in the 1.5 years I owned the car (15,000 total miles).
Now let me tell you about me VW experiance on a 2003 jazz blue 20th anniversary GTI. The paint was peeling of in 1 inch sections at 5,000 miles, the drivers door window glass fell off the regulator at 3,000 miles, the front power window switch went bad twice and the rear hatch squeaked from day one, I was told by the DSM it was NORMAL!
Buy a Camary that should be safe
