I've launched my Evo a few times, but only at 3K rpm....do you think I got anything to worry about? I've hit 20 pounds of boost on a spike too ....as of yet though...no problems.

He's right though guys. Our evo has many weakpoints in the tranny. The car should have been made to take our abuse and then some. Only if the tranny strength matched that of our engine...

lol. Are you kidding me. Letting it go at 3k isn't even considered launching.

You've gotta love these retards that buy these cars and think they can do whatever they want to them because they "should be able to handle anything." Dumb@$$, it's a machine....if you beat the crap out of a machine it's not going to work anymore!!! Go ahead, buy an STI! Just make sure you come back and visit us EVERYTIME you blow through that clutch as well. After that, maybe you should go back to a Honda, everybody knows those cars are the sh*t when it comes to moron drivers.

Funny how I never see any ex-DSM owners whining and crying about their Evo's, it's always just the Fischer-Price My First Performance Car crowd.

Please, no more threads like these, they make baby jesus cry.
