how do you do this? You could either run rich but what's that growling sound after reving up? i think that's something else then the exhaust sound.

I'm pretty sure that's anti-lag. It just doesn't fire a spark plug on occasion so the fuel ignites in the exhaust manifold keeping the turbo spooled. It's VERY hard on the turbo.

anti lag works by retarding the timing, so that the exhaust valve is still open and that the energy created in the combustion chamber spools up the turbo some. properly set up it is not that hard on the turbo.

there is a afermark part called flame thrower ! but i have never seen how it work, a friend of mind got one on his supra
