that plug on the passenger side is your best bet(behind the front strut tower).....you dont have to drill anything that way.

you could also jack up the car and take off the driverside inner fender and wheel. there is a grommet there that has a whole lot of wires running though it. use a coat hanger or a snake to get it though there. you may have to slice the grommet a little to get it through, but just remember to re-electrical tape the grommet when your done. this is a pain in the a$$ in my opinion, because when your done you will have a lot of tar on your hands from the undercoating.

hope this helps!

Unhappy

There used to be a how-to that showed a good place to drill on a site somewhere. I think it might have been one of the evomoto ones, but I don't know for sure or if it was saved by anyone. If I remember correctly, it involved drilling through the firewall just on the driver's side of where the HVAC controls were. I wish I had better information for ya.

I used the grommet on the passenger side for my amp power wire and ran my gauge wires out the grommet from the driver kick panel to the door and theroug the fender to the front by the headlights. I think this is how Mitsu diagrams installing their gauge kit. No drilling necessary. If you need more info I can try to take pics and give a better description.

pull the front tire and plastic inner wheel well. There is a large grommet that the stock wires run through above the kick panel. I ran a 1/2" connector for my IBC through there with no trouble and you can't get closer to the A pillar than that.
