which boost gauge??

hey guys, im looking to do my first mod and its going to be a boost gauge... im pretty sure im going to mount it on the steering column...

is there any general preference towards on vendoe than the other? it seems like everyone likes "defi-d" gauges, im assuming because they are well made and accurate... i was thinking autometer but it seems thats not that prevalent among owners..

id tried doing a search but couldnt find a thread doing a poll or comparison of the most used boost gauges available....

need your input, TIA...

everyone seems to love the defi gauges, but i have the greddy gauges and i like them a lot, easy to read and accurate. ive heard mixed things about autometer, but you cant go wrong with the defi or greddy, and i cant really tell you about all the others...

Defi is a little expensive, but you get what you pay for. Although I really like the Blitz BLM those look sexy.

Yes, it will. I have the Defi-D boost gauge with the BR gauge pod mounted on the right side.

I got a Defi Dgauge because it reads in PSI. I would've rather gotten an electrical gauge, but I couldn't find any that read in PSI. I mounted it on the dash in between the A pillar and the windshield. I would not want it anywhere lower (like the steering column) because it is way out of the line of sight. I feel more comfortable with the gauge higher up. I would put it on the A pillar actually but that would attract too much attention.

whats the mm HG measurements below the PSI readings? does it sit at 0 or below to indicate some sort of vacuum? thanks in advance for the info.
