I want to make sure my car is doing this because of the jdm mr valve, because I recently installed it. Under traffic conditions, move a lil in first gear, once you put it in neutral the idle goes down to about 500 likes its about to stall that a second later comes back up(doesnt do it every time), did the same thing is reverse. Did it like 3 times in a 45 min drive, not a big deal just want to make sure that it is being cause by the mr valve. Anyone else have the same problem? thanks.

 

I'm with the MR valve (1000miles of use) and never had this kind of problem.

 

Best way to find out is to remove it, replace the stock one, and test again. If that's the issue it will go away.

I've read other posts by people complaining the MR valve will drop idle real low (almost stall), which sounds on-par with what you are experiencing.

I have had mine on for about a month now and have had no problems at all with it

 

took it off, up for sale, guess its true everycar is different, im not running enough boost to even need it so im going to stick with the stocker till I got more mods. $100 shipped, used for 1 day, practically brand new.
