new springs on my MR

ok then i finally got my springs in on my evo this wensday put in the espelir gts...
some of u might have seen my last post on it i was asking to see if any of u had any suggestions oh the camber and toe settings for the car or if i
should go back to stock specs... anyways this is my evo b4 the springs...

im going to take the pics of it after the installation today and when i get back ill post them up here... but anyways all i wanted to say was the
installation was very simple and if any of u are still debating whether to change them or not the installation process isnt something that should
worry u... i was going to post a how to thread but im sure someone has already done it plus i was pressed for time the shop was about to close
and i had to go so i didnt take enough pics :[

Hey, where you located?
im from san antonio 03evoviii how about u??

ok and now for the after pics... i took them in the same spot in hopes of letting u guys get a better feel for it anyways here they r

i know it doesnt seem like it but it is lowered ;P its the only thing i can say for certenty... now as for the rest while i cant prove it i can deffenetly feel the car stiffer... it deff handles better but the rear end obviously does slide out easier, also i cant quite prove it but it seems as thought i've gained about 500 rpms meaning that now in 1st gear taking off instead of peeling out at 6000 i start peeling out at 6500 giving me an extra 500 rpms to pull away from from whomever... i can say with satisfaction that these springs were worth it and i can take curves and turns with more confidance allowing me to take them with greater presicion and speed... let me hear a hoorraa!! for ESPELIR... oh heres a side by side pic

Hey looks pretty good! Plus give it a few days to let the springs settle down a little bit more from the weight of the car.

One question, do you hear any knocking at all when driving over bumps? Couple of years ago I put springs on my honda, and when I would go over bumps I would hear a knocking sound as if the springs were to "short"?

Thanks for the review.

Actually if I remember right, the springs I got came with new rubber stoppers. It was as if the springs were jumping up and down in the cylinder as I would drive.

Will looks like I may have to pick up a set like yours. How much did they cost you? Where did you buy them from?

what was the drop on the springs in inches? it does look better, and hopefully the springs will settle in more so you get an even better look. are you going to put rims on? that would look even sweeter.
