How do you feel?

I don't know how many of you search other car forums, but all I have to say is we have one of the best I don't search others very often, but the times I have I can't believe all the crap

To sum it up I think we have one of the best forums available. Thanks to everyone at evom Post up your thoughts about this forum vs. others you have been or a member of.

This forum lacks informative posts.

But that's not the forum's fault, I'd say the users are a bit below par.

The howtos that exist here are really good (I've written one myself) but the forum is largely devoted to people justifying how their exact model of evo is better than the MR, or if they own an MR, how all non MR owners are just fooling themselves. I think the lancer owners spend less time attacking each other though.

You summed it up. There are a few who make good posts, but then there's post ****** and opinion threads and yadda yadda yadda. The good think is that some of the good posters make up for it.

Come to think of it, this post is pretty uninformative as well

So are a lot of the offtopic threads.

if more users searched before asking repetitive questions, it would be a lil better, but then again i do it sometimes because i dont feel like going through 30 pages of an old thread.

Overall I think this forum has a good mix of information (from a small group of people) and fun (from a larger group of people.) I can honestly say I've learned quite a bit here and people have been helpful...and I have a lot of fun as well.

true, but i thought i needed to say that. i do agree that the i have 2k what should i buy next and all the other bs needs to stop, but overall i say it's pretty good.

i was mostly talking about users bashing users. it's just a way to pass unwanted time like work

this forum is a good place to come for help.. but it is overloaded with useless polls(most of which are reposts), such as when the evo x comes out will it be better than the evo ix, or will the evo ix be faster than the viii.. y are u polling on speculation instead of just waiting to see what really happens. but there are funny stories and good times to be had, and most people are willing to help if u ask

preludeonline.com (prelude was my previous car, very good forum, very similar to this in terms of friendliness and helpful posts but this one has more how-to's) and this one

I think the forum is "ok." It is much better than Club RSX, which is just beyond stupid. However, many posts here are really sub-par as far as technical information goes. This is more of a statement about the users of this forum, rather than the forum its self. I actually prefer socalevo.net for technical questions.
