Has anybody ever seen a cop pull over a motorcycle for too loud of an exhaust,, or a mustang or a camaro? I don't think so.... That's just not right. Thankfully in Georgia though we don't have any laws on the exhaust systems loudness (decibels)... unless you backfire... if your exhaust backfires.. it's a 95 dollar ticket. lol

Yes. You are modifying the stock muffler to a straight through approach. THe cop would not know you had it modified as it looks and is stock except for the inside.

The Works exhaust is an interesting approach, but I'd rather keep my 3" than put the stocker back on...

Get the Fujitsubo RM01A! Screw all the other exhuasts. This thing is dead quiet! I've got it with the Fujitsubo downpipe and it still sounds near stock. It idles like stock but when you go WOT it sounds SLIGHTLY louder than stock and deeper.

You'll love the look of this exhaust too, its got a straight exit and a 4in tip. This thing looks near stock as well.

The RM01A makes a good amount of power. I got about 13whp with the exhaust even though its got 2 resonators and a neck down at the cat. Other than that, all the rest of the piping is a full 3in. Don't listen to those idiots that complain about the resonantors and neck downs, they're stupid. Unless you're making 450+whp a full 3in exhaust is pointless. You WON'T feel the difference.

The best thing about this exhaust is that it's pretty light at about 23lbs. The build quality is next to none. Fujitsubo is Japan's top exhaust manufacturer and most famous. They even build the exhausts for Ralliart and Nismo.

Only downside I can see is that it's slightly pricey and the shipping for this thing is insane because its a one-piece exhaust. The only flange you see is to connect up to the cat. And it only uses slip on hangers.

Yeah, that's what I've heard about that exhaust. I thought about it, but the cost is just too much! It's like.. $800 + shipping from what I've seen, ouch!

I know it's expensive but you pay for what you get. It doesn't get any better than Fujitsubo.

LOL...if you thought the stainless version was expensive, the titanium verion is $2000 including shiping

Ya know what gets me? This thread has some points about LOUD exhausts and cars...getting tickets, etc. What I find very strange, atleast where I live, why don't these guys with Harleys and their exhaust ever get tickets? You ever hear those things??? LOUD as hell!! Yet they never get ticketed here.

Sorry to hijack -- I felt it was relevant to the thread.

^^This is true.

Unfortunately we live in America, where all imports are discriminted against by the local authorities. Because we drive compact cars with big wings and bright colors, we are nothing but punks and thugs looking for trouble. Isn't that right guys?

Fujitsubo makes a great low noise and stock looking exhaust.

Me and good buddy own the b&b for that reason. It's quite and doesn't attract alot of attention.

How about the AMS exhaust. Don't know about sound levels but it does exit straight out the back, not angled.
