Differential Fluid Question for 05

Hello,

I have what I think is a stupid question. I had my car (05 GSR) in for the free maintenance interval at my dealer. I noticed the ACD/differential reservoir in the engine bay was filled all the way to to the top after this visit. I used a turkey baster to suck some out and get it down to normal levels. My question is what color should this liquid be? Mine was a pink/redish color.

I really don't think they are taught. I think the people on this board know way more about our cars then the mechanics at Mitsubishi. I emptied it to just under the maximum line.

wow what a insult to the techs at the dealer that actually know how to work on the turbo mitsus. fyi not all dealerships look for a reason to take a customers for a ride, some of them actually take the time to work with mod'ed evo owners. people on this board dont like to be sterotyped as import punks, but you bash on the techs just as bad as the cops bash on ya'll. learn some respect

It's really not that hard to fill up the reservoir. It says minimum & maximum. If you can't do that we have a problem and you need to find work somewhere else. Here's a question, has Mitsubishi TAUGHT the mechanics to work on the 05's with the ACD or did they send an insert to their 03/04 service manual covering the 05's ACD? Most Mistubishi shops are filthy. There is crap all over the place. You go to Honda, Toyota, and especially Lexus and for the most part these service bays are well maintained and clean. My reservoir was overfilled and this may cause a problem down the road, that is it. This is easier than changing oil.
