Apparently my dates were changed from 2-10-03 to 3-3-03

Your probably getting your the same as in Chicago. If so, that means trucking on 3-3-03 to the dealer. Arriving 3-10 thru 3-15

I hope not. Maybe they will come in early at around late Feburary Sorry bad joke.

Mine was changed from 2/25 to 3/20. It was built on 2/3 (Monday). Oh well, have to wait another month.

I talked to my dealer in New Mexico and he told me arrival date of 7 march 03. He aslo told me keep in mind that it could be 7 plus or minus days from the arrival date(so basically any time in between)he also promised my no later than 14 march 03 things are looking good.I know this guy is not bull because he owns the dealership and he's not the sales manager either.

I just received a call from my dealer.
The date was pushed back to the third week in March.
He said their cars come from Baltimore Md.
He also said the south east gets them from Atlanta Ga.
I thought all the cars come from California.
Does anyone know?
The later the better for me with all the road salt and sand up here. I don't plan on driving my Evo in the winter.
He also said it is the only Evo he is getting!!!
There is only one other dealer in western New York!
He said he would probably have to buy many other cars to get another Evo from Mitsubishi.(package deal)

Drive it like you stole it!

I was given a drop date of March 13th. Sounds pretty reasonable with all the other stuff I have been reading. Just a mere month away.

The latest from my dealer is that he is getting five Evos.
I am the only person with money down!!!!
If you don't mind the distance and need to find an Evo
call Dan Georger Mitsubishi in Buffalo, NY. I guess people
around here don't know about the Evo yet!?!?

Probably due to the new STi arriving soon. The fact is that as of now advantage is the earier arrival. If mitusbishi really drags it out to mid-april I predict more and more canceled order due to car magazines hyping up the STi when the less powerful evo is mentioned. Seem like all the magazine are trashing on no ACD/AYC mainly, mentioning watered down and so forth. Seem that all the evo article here mention full blown STi and Mitsubishi made a mistake on not giving us the electronic goodies.

I'm just saying magazine influence is huge for most people. Like i said before Weight and Price will be the determining factors which both were not mention probably for good reasons . If they did announce under U.S evo weight with 2.5 and dccd most of us will switch. It'll be great marketing and i'm betting on the evo weighing less than the new STi.

The Evo just got favorable COVER STORIES in the two biggest car mags and they didn't even do full road tests. I think your logic is bunk on this one.

Have you seen the Automobile magazine article? It seemed pretty glowing to me. Made me feel a lot better about the decision I am making.
