Yeah, I pretty much only keep it clean for special occasions, I liwe in Michigan so I've pretty much given up, the other night my friend said he could only tell which evo was mine cause the gray MR has the Vortex Generator haha.

It's more embarrasing for an STi to lose to an evo, the WRX's are tough lil scrappers who are trying to prove their worth, even though hopefully we already respect them they are usually nice guys.
Yea Vince I get the same hting at work sometimes...
I take my car to get my summer tires put back on last week (i know it's michigan and the weather is unpredictable) and when they're finally done and pull my car out of the bay, I walk out and all the guys in the shop come out to ask "Have you had that off road yet?" And I'm like, "uhhh, well I've had it on some dirt roads if that's what you mean" and then one guy said, "Is it fast?". "Yea dude, it's fast".
One of the coolest things was when I drove by like 6 school busses the other day, and almost every bus had a bunch of boys waving and jumping up and down in the back. I just chuckled and thought, "yea I can't believe it's an Evo either"
Of course, we also get bad attention. When we excellerate, it's much louder than most sedans, so people in my neighborhood will yell "SLOW DOWN!!". I look at my speedo and I'm always going 25-30, so I'll turn around and try to explain why they might have PERCEIVED my car as going fast even though it wasn't, and it never makes any sense to them. Ironically, it makes me want more noisy mods!!

Best slow down ever happened to a friend of mine. He parked his car infront of my friends house, but my friend asked him to move it to the driveway in front of the garage. He literally got in, turned it on, and moved it about 3 feet from the front to the driveway. As he gets out an old man from 3 houses down comes running down the street and yells at him. Best line was, "This is not a racetrack". He went maybe 1 mph.... maybe....
weirdest was backin out of my driveway waiting for the gate to close.
and then BANG...
the front side..my side..drops!
look out the window..see my wheel spacer rollin down the drain..
try to open the door..cant open!
apparently the nuts i was using on the wheel studs werent the right ones even though they went on properly and have been workin for over a year...and they damaged my studs and the threading!
so the wheel came off..fender dropped on it...and destroyed my fender!
and then BANG...
the front side..my side..drops!
