The VI is the wing on the left on the black VI above.

Plain? The V wing is more plain. The VI is a double winged spoiler. I think you just made me blow a fuse. Did you have them backwards or does that really just look more commonplace to you? (Not attacking you here, just very curious and confused. )

 

Probably backwards.......but definitely the EVO VII's wing is plain. And the white EVO in the pic had that wing too

 

Base on Evo V's spoiler = flush with trunk. Evo VI = raised middle on the lower part of the wing. Evo VII = two curved uprights with a wing connecting em.

Maybe it's clear now? I dunno. I should probabl sleep.

 

the V wing is not plain!!!! from side one they have a very aggressive shape!! facing forward at the top and are 4 point adjustable for downforce!! and are very strong with s/steel bracing on the inside make them VERY strong!

 

i was just assuming the 6 was better then the 5 becuz it has a little more torque.

 

I believe the 6 has more improvements over the 5 than Maxi says:

-the rear spoiler is much more advanced
-Ti turbo
-the roll-center is lower!!!
-lighter pistons!!!
-suspension/arms are more advanced (more aluminium)!!!
-the oil pan is different: better cooling!!!
-different oil injectors
-the oil cooler is bigger for better cooling and higher oil flow!!!
-the engine cooling has been modified for increased cooling at higher rpms!!!
-and much more.....

-and, luckily, mine came without fog lights!

So, I am glad I have a 6!!

N.ring the ti turbo is standard on RS cars ... got one on my 5 !
I agree with the intercooler ... BUT IC's 5 is up enough to 500cv

Mine comes without foglights too ...

I disagree on the cooling and the oil pan / injectors ....
A rally team told me that's the same thing ...
Same motor too ... CP9A 4G63 ...

I will check about the suspension arms ...

 

I didnt mean the ic, but the water cooling system of the engine.

If you look at the drawings of the oil injectors and oilpans, you will see a difference!

But a 5 is a nice car!!

Just did nine fast laps on the Nürburgring today with MK and Raven! A GT3 crashed right in front of me! Poor guy. He didnt want to be passed by an Evo!!

looks tied between Evo5 & Evo8 - the 5 is just plain badass, but the 8 looks far more refined & mature

for a road car I would choose the Evo7 or Evo8, but for a rally machine, the Evo6 is probably the best combination of technology & light weight

 

What I would do for a 6.5 TME...

 

I like EVO 6.5 a lot
But love EVO 7 even more.
