Angry Over sticker? Will you walk??

I am seeing a lot of posts about the dealers changing there tune in regards to price....I want to know if people will walk away if asked to pay over sticker..
I for one will RUN away, after I laugh in the dealers face.

Anyone with me on this?

I think a lot of people are too optamistic about getting one for MSRP. Don't get me wrong if you get one for MSRP more power to ya. But I have talked to many dealers and none are going as low as MSRP The most any dealers around me are allocating is 4 cars, the rest are getting maybe 1. They are not letting their few cars go for cheap. I just think (my opinion only) that a lot of people are going to get stiffed by their dealers. I myself am willing to pay some over Msrp, not much, but some. I use to say I would NEVER pay MSRP(let alone over), but I am semi obssesed with this car and I do not think I can function without it. I just hope everyone that wants one gets one, but I think their are going to be some pissed of peeps.

Longfury is correct, they are going to make a profit even if they sell it for msrp, I think greed is one of
those seven sins or something like that, lol. If some of us have
waited this long I'm sure we can wait a short time more before
mitsu realizes their scam won't work on everybody. Although a few hundred over msrp isn't too much anything more and they
can kiss my ace. Rememer people it's a car, a very quick awd
machine that can hang with cars 3 times it's price, only a car.

Waiting.....

I am going to wait. Even though it sucks....

I will play not only against but also against Subaru while playing Subaru against Subaru. You get the picture.

Fact is, too much demand will leave you behind.... There are many people that feel the "need" to get into a new model car, no matter what.

What is "shopping around" going to do if the dealer has 10 more people interested in the car? A deposit means nothing if you do not agree to the selling price. If you don't buy, you are out.....

Good Luck to all, I myself want one, but a car is a car......

I am not that emotionally attached to getting an Evo. I will walk if the dealer tries to price over MSRP. I'll go buy a daily driver, and save my money for something else....maybe another old Mini.

I was at a Mitsu dealer the other day talking about the EVO.. After he made me laugh in his face about 5-10k over, I told him that I was gonna walk next door to Subaru and get an STI.. Cause when I got my WRX in the first shipment, they never tried to mess with the price... Got it for $25,500 with my options.. So I told them that they were in for a rude awakening... They seemed a loss for words... It was funny..

As much as I want one, I'm not going to pay over MSRP for it.
If my dealer jacks me (which he very well may) I will just put my 97 GSX back on the road (which is a lot faster than a stock EVO anyway) and put a few $k into that to *really* make it fly.

this is like the new thing dealers do they get a few cars mark them way up and after the new factor goes away the prices start to fall.......ex. When the VW bug came out, The PT cruiser they had people on a wait list for months.....now there are ton of em sitting in lots all over prices on thes cars have came way down as well
