30k service

30k service

i just brought my car in for the 30k service but they only changed the coolant and transmission fluid and didnt change the belts plus the diff oils....so did i get ripped off???

should i go back to the dealership because the receipt doesnt show the same work they are suppose to do in the maintainence manual...

any info??

the diff fluids should only have to be changed every 60k, the belts are only changed as needed, and the plugs are suppose to be changed every 15k for regular non-iridium plugs

are you sure. i'm pretty sure the manual states that all trans and diff fluids should get changed at 30,000. i don't remember about the belts, but I think they are supposed to be changed at 30000 also.

tranny and diff fluids 30k miles
coolant 30k miles
belts 60k miles
spark plugs 30k miles

I think that I would at least take it back to them and show them the manual and you receipt showing what wasnt done. Get their opinion if you think something wasn't done.

Do they use jdm fluids? I've noticed my blinkers aren't as responsive as they were back in 2003.

Yes, it has to be shipped from Japan, and it's very expensive.

GOSH!

I've been wondering about my clutch support defibrillator valve too. It seems to be a little shaky at times, not quite acting up, but not quite working properly. Is it supposed to reach up and kick me in the ***** randomly around 85-90mph?

They only need to be checked every 15k and replaced every 30k.
