Wow, if they are that cheap, get 2!! They usually cost $75 or so.

I think you're talking about ARC, and I believe they are pretty good, but I haven't seen one in person. Do a search for "ARC intake" just to see...

Hks is $35, K&n is $70(65-85 depending where you look). Dont make the same mistake I did. I bought the hks first because it was cheaper, but I didnt realize that they reccomend you change it every 5,000 miles, and at about 4,000 miles down the road the filter was done. I just bought a k&n, guarenteed forever.

The main difference I see is that the K&N is reusable and the HKS is not. Like ^^^ said, the K&N usually goes for about $65-$70. If you found a K&N for $40, you're getting a deal (unless it's used).

by the way i recommend the K&N the HKS is just foam, and I dont trust it, although it will flow better than the K&N.

Ah, thanks, bigJ, because I was giving HKS the benefit of the doubt on being lifetime like K&N. Why in the hell would they bother selling that crap if it only lasts 5k miles? Dumb...

But thanks for mentioning it, so he doesn't make the wrong decision.

K&N.. I have one and you will notice better throttle response. They recommend you clean the filter every 30k miles.

Why mess around and change things for no good reason? The stock intake works great up to nearly 400 whp! The K&N in my opinion and experience is just an expensive filter that does not flow as well as the stock element. I don't know about the HKS filter, but the intake is loud and screws up the MAF signal in some cases...... I think for most ppl the stock intake with stock filters works best and costs a lot less..... YMMV, etc.
