Boost Gauge Help

The gauge was moving erratically yesterday. I thought something was wrong with the car but it sounded and felt find so I kept driving. After awhile the hand on the gauge fell off. It's couple years old so the warranty has expired.

I don't mind buying another one but before I do that I'd like to see if I can stick the hand on and maybe glue it this time.

Attached is picture... does anybody know how to remove the front cover to gain access to the hand?

Any help or suggestion is appreciated. Thanks.

if its a mechanical gauge go with the defi d's its just a bit over $100 so its pretty reasonable.

Thanks for the advice. A new gauge seems to be the consensus. Delfi D? Dunno what that is but I'll search around for it. Thanks again.

I took it apart... had to pry with a screw driver around the chrome band. Glued the hand on but during the process of putting it back in the case... I dropped the sucker and the gauge was stuck at 15 vacuum. I zero'd it the best I could and installed it back in the car. It seems a little off but... it's something to look at until I get a new one. I think I will get the Defi D as recommended. It's twice as expensive but hopefully will last twice as long as this one. I just might send it back to them with a nice letter once I get a new one.
