4400 miles??? Have mitsubishi worry about it

 

i had this on my 05 also, turned out that my # 1 bearing spun, i had like 3K and some change miles, Dealer had to put new engine and turbo in.

 

It only Does it when it's warm. I adjusted the idle so it does happen @ 900-1000rpms. Man I hope nothing is wrong.

 

Have a mechanic hook up a mechanical guage and check it hot at higher rpms to see what your oil pressure is before you do anything else

 

Well I hooked up a mechanical gauge to the plugs on top of the Oil Filter. The sameplace where people stick their oil pressure senders for aftermarket gauges. It read 20psi @ idle with the oil light on. Oil is filled up. I could not find the stock oil pressure sender so I can check it in that location also. So far nothing to really worry about yet.

 

i have a problem with my oil light flashing on and off... after my tune... could it be a hose on the oil pressure switch???

 

Dam I need an oil pressure gauge so I know what normal is.......I wonder if Mitsu will sell just the Iol pressure gauge and in White Face...

 

Do you have any CEL? I would let the dealer sort it out, this is not normal.
