Amen, brother! Amen! I did the same thing. Saved up for a down payment through college and then bought one brand new in July of '04 right after I landed my first full-time job. I still dont have the cash to modify that much. Right now I am only around 340whp. I finally paid it off here last month but now all my money is going to go toward saving up for a house so I guess the modding will have to wait a bit longer.
So that brings up a follow up question....how do people afford all their mods?? Do some people max out credit cards or still owe $20k on their car that makes 500whp? I just dont get it! What am I doing wrong? haha!

Only other option I can see is that you put a down payment and financing the car.~Chug
