You know the military pays well. I may not be making huge dollar amounts like a doc, or a guy who owns his own business and can buy a car "much better than an evo" But I make over 40g's a year and im single. thats with 3 years in the millitary. Getting out soon though haha i cant stand the politics

40 year old Physician Assistant, just got a big raise (threatened to quit), now thinking about ditching the Evo and getting a used M3 or 993 Porsche-or keeping the Evo and getting a used Miata. Married, homeowner, one kid, wifes car Honda CRV, my car $400/mth.

Wow. You guys are young. Congrats on you 19/20 yo marketing directors. Not sure how you achieved that at such a young age? Big companies?

I had to spend 7 years in the Navy, get my degree, and then land a job as an Analyst with a large Bank. Took me some time, but finally could afford the EVO along with the other list of bills your typical married male with kids has.

How are you making 40 thousand dollars a year in the military? Are you adding all the benefits such as housing and other allowances? I was in the Navy for 7 years (E5 - Second Class Petty Officer) and the last year I was in I filed my w-2 with a gross of 22g. I thought and still thing the military is underpaid (poverty level)
