Exclamation Need Help!!! Popping/Braking Sound...

Alright here is the situation.. I just had a set of Tein H-Tech springs installed & RSR GTII cat-back. I haven't had a alignment yet, it will be done soon (within the next two days.) Last night while backing out, & turning the wheel, of my driveway I notice a pop, like something braking. I though I might had rubbed the front end. I turn the wheel left and right and the sound wasn't there anymore. This morning I notice I whinning sound when the wheel was crank all the way. Ran to the Mitsu dealership and bought some power steering fluid. The whin is still there only when I turn the wheel all the way and hold it there. As I leave, backing up and turning the wheel, the dealership I hear/fell that pop again. I get the service manager and he ride with me and it doesn't happen. We back and pulled in 5-7 times, notthing. Has this happend to anyone? What does it sound like. I have the car parked now at home and don't plan on moving it till I here from my alignment guy.

What do you mean by "Seating"? Falling into place?

Think they will be able to tell when it goes in for alignment?

That's the sound my Jetta used to make when the strut bearing would break. I'm not sure if Evos have strut bearings because I haven't gotten to changing my suspension yet, but if they do, I'd check that.

I just had this problem myself. I bought my 05 evo a month ago and I just recently had this problem. Now mind you I've been driving alot on this car so I pretty much broke it in the only problem is, that it started when I took hard turn on the exit ramps just showing a friend of mine and as soon I got to my place I starting hitting the brakes and there it was the hard clumping sound! I'm scared for my baby! MAybe I hit it to hard on the curb or something!
