the rs4 will sticker for 80k plus whatever markup they put on them because you know there wont be that many. and for 80+ id rather be in a porsche or e55 or something along those lines.

ES, LS, OZ, same thing. I guess i should have just said "base model" implying all ES LS OZ.

the SSL is nice, dont get me wrong but i love how some cars have that feel like the dash conforms(maybe the wrong word) around you. I guess its just a matter of what works for me.

Seriously, some people on this board amaze me...

I went from an IS300 to my current MR. I loved my IS300 all 3 years I drove it, because it was so comfortable, plush, beautiful, fun, etc etc etc. It DID handle well, but by the end, I referred to it as "slow as *****." When the MR came out, I decided it was time to go back to my DSM roots and get a REAL car. The IS300 was a great experience, but I can almost guarantee you will be bored in a very short time if you have ANY amount of performance desire inside of you. Seriously, it won't be much faster than your OZ, which is a total pile of crap to begin with.
And no, you won't drive it in the winter...it's absolutely worthless. I literally just could not leave the DRIVEWAY if there was any snow on the ground, which was another reason why I went with the Evo. It didn't matter if I had the original, stock tires or all-seasons, it was 100% undriveable in the snow. I never had actual SNOW TIRES, so I'm sure those would be better than nothing, but my wife was able to get to and from work in ANY snow conditions with her FWD 3G Eclipse while I would sit and spin in the driveway...food for thought.
You won't ever drive a Porsche based off the comments I've seen. Those are raw sports cars that TRY to have a few amenities to appease their affluent owners, but in the end, it's still a pure sportscar. The Evo is very similar, and if all you could think about was how the interior didn't feel right, then you don't have a performance-enthusiast bone in your body. If you even NOTICE the interior when driving an Evo, you're most likely dain-bramaged.

I agree with Warrtalon, the IS300 is crap in the snow. Mine had snow control, traction control and all the other goodies. That thing couldn't leave the driveway when there was slight snow on the ground. Obviousely the EVO is not for you. Have fun in a luxury car.
