Test Drove an Evo today......

Well i finally test drove one after thinking that id love them as a step up from my current lancer. In fact, i hate them. They handle incredible, nice and quick and easy to control but it just doesnt feel "nice" so to speak in the interior.

I went down the street, test drove a new IS300, definately alot slower, but it still handled great, couldnt hear a thing, and the interior is beautiful.

Im not hating on the evo but i decided today its NOT the car for me.

well the evo wasnt made to have the nicest interor. it's not meant to be comfy..the OZ was made for the regular passenger use..the evo was not. i know your not hating on the evo..but you have to understand what the evo was built for. it was built for speed and not comfort.

havent made it to the STI dealer yet but do they still have that policy of not letting you test drive unless you put money on the car.

I had a IS300 with the 5speed and ltd slip rear, and it is a nice car the interior is sweet dont get me wrong but it would not please me the way my evo does. Put it to you this way I traded the IS 300 for a Nissan Titan pick up truck it just depends what you want in a car. I say go for the Evo. You will get all the show along with the GO.

I still don't understand the OP's point. Seems he doesn't have one.

sh*t happens.. it's not for anyone. if it's not for you, then by all means, don't get it if you're not going to be happy... 30k isn't anything to sneeze at, especially if it's not what you want
