Blew a head gasket late last night while tuning so we didn't get to run today.

That sucks! I just wanted to see how it turned out. Shootout results were just the venue.

I was really bummed. We blew the head gasket while trying to push the boost past 35 psi early this morning on the way to the shootout. 35 psi on this turbo is frightening. The car was able to hit 35 psi at about 5500 rpms which is amazing. Damage was minimal so the car should be ready to go in a week or two.

the subarus definitly did not win... most evos were shutting it down halfway down the track bc the Sti's were so far behind...it was great.

i was pissed that there were only like 2 vendors there.. i was in the purchasing mood today and i brought a G note with me too. didnt spend a dime.

i think out of 10 races the Sti's won 2.

-***Edit... i just read the post fully... here in nyc the subarus lost hardcore.

i see you guys had the same shootout in cali.***

yeah! it was sooo funny when the evos have to shut down halfway down the track because the STi's were so far behind!! it was a great day!! Evo get 80% of the winning, but Big Valley really did a good job wining the final.

the subarus lost bad, really bad, turbo trix, dynoflash, pruven, and ams all ran fine, turb trix having some problems at the begining and at the end but overall a good day i know it was fun as hell, just got sunburned too much, scattered showers my ***, i think im never listening to the weather report anymore. Wonder how many people be getting trannys and clutches done all next week, Next year this event should nto be called evo vs. wrx shootout it shoudl just be called evo domination, cuz we gonna do it again next year

i only ran a best of 13.8 with a 2.5 60' time today.

I was my first time launching an AWD vehicle. I need more practice.

Overall i saw a lot of frustrated EVO owners, myself, my buddy and a few others included who couldnt get lower than a 2.0 60' time
