Hey, I wanted to get your guys opinions on a used GG MR I am thinking of purchasing. I will not have the ability to test drive as it is located several states away (as are most used MR's currently for me). It is a dealer sale with 11,800 miles, buschur stage 2 i believe with 264 cams and reflash, exedy twin disk, guage/stereo relocate (getting receipt for parts and install). From the pictures I have seen, it appears to be in mint condition. I am having the dealer put in writing that the techs have fully inspected the car and certify it is mechanically sound. Selling price is 29k.
My logic is that most places won't let you test drive an MR anyways, so looking at pics and looking at it in person aren't much different. Do you guys think it sounds legit?
Also, newbie question...is there any way to install cruise control, my only big dislike.
thanks!

If you can get a certified tech to check it out, then i think you are golden, but make sure that it's a tech that you pick and not one that the seller picks. Also about cruise control I believe there is only one main company that makes aftermarket cruise control and I've heard it costs around $600-1000 installed into your car. But it doesn't work as smoothly as a factory installed cruise control.
What kind of tech is looking at the car? is it the dealerships car? what kind of dealership is it, mitsu dealership?

I would be very afraid of a car with that many mods being sold already. The whole test drive analogy doesn't fly either, because it's used. You only don't get to test drive new ones that are FACTORY CERTIFIED AND WARRANTIED 100%. A used one you should be able to test drive with no question, especially since you know none of its warranty is still in tact.

Hey Gaijin, no it's not the one from Phoenix.
Also, Does anyone know what the requirements are for the 0%?? My credit score is very good (>700), but I just moved and started a new job less than 6 months ago, and have been running into lending issues with banks due to a shortened current residence. Does that matter for the 0% financing deal. I would rather not take the risks on a car I have not seen, but if I can't get the 0%, the difference in the price would buy a whole new drivetrain anyways. Thanks for the help guys!
