Since you're racing, shift at Higher RPM like maybe... 7K or even couple hundred more so when you're in the next gear (shifting fast of course), you should be still in full boost.

your shifting to fast let the rpm's drop a little more so your back in the power band
your speed wont change and you will have more gear

try it let me know what you think

i love when peoeple just make up assumptions, of course it's going to mess up your tranny, stock clutch and tranny won't be able to handle that kind of shock very long. For fu.cks sake if you don't know don't just make **** up.

yes its not that good for the car but its not going to **** up the clutch or tranny if you only do it when you take it down to the track once every month or so...chill out

Don't powershift man, you're not a racecar driver, and it's only going to screw up your tranny.

What in the HELL are you talking about? Shift slower to let the rpms drop more so that you're back in the power band???? You cannot be serious. This is the exact opposite of what you're supposed to do when racing. Shift as FAST as possible and try to keep the RPMs as HIGH as possible when engaging the next gear. We make peak HP at 6800. There's no reason to want to be LOWER in the powerband...

When racing, shift as fast as possible and don't shift until after 7k rpms...preferably around 7100-7200. There should be no re-spool time required after a quick shift unless your car is messed up or you just shift poorly.
