Six months of trouble free motoring

Ive had my evo for six months today and NO problems. A great car providing many a smile per mile. It does get a little painful at the gas pump but I guess this much fun has a price!!

I've had mine for four months and love it too. My only concern is the notchiness of the shifter. Is your's notchy too? Many have commented on how smooth they are but mine isn't compared to other new cars I have driven recently such as the 350Z and even the WRX STi.

mine was a little notchy too. I bought a greddy counter weight and that sorta made it less. Its like butter now because of the extra force. Well, not exactly butter but pretty damn close .

jdoc7,
I think my shifter is notchy but I never have any difficulty finding gears. My son has an sti with the optional short throw shifter and I can never find third gear on his.

mobounce, I live in Olathe..

I had a thread about this maybe a week ago...someone suggested something to add that would make it shift smoother.

Search this forum for "notchy shifter" (I think that was the thread title)

GR8SHAG - congrats on a good 6 months. Hope you have many more.
