I highly suggest you just check the work after its done. I knew something was different post recall fix and upon further inspection I did discover what it was. There has already been 2 documented cases of this, mine and Alberts, however I am sure that there are others out there not armed with the knowledge and serious damage could result at the owners expense.

I totally thought I was going nuts, I was like hmm this sound is new, but doesn't sound right. That is just it too, like you I am aware enough and know enough to be able to determine an issue. I am sure that there are many others that would have never noticed which could have caused severe long term damage.

See if you can grab the service manager and the general manager, or one of the other dealership managers to 'ask them something about your car.' When you go out, pull out that intercooler routing diagram and show them the car, then ask both of them if their mechanics are actually trained in anything or if they just pulled them off the street, because obviously they cant even follow a simple picture diagram and put your car back together wrong. Then tell them that they WILL maintanence your car every 2,000 miles for the next 20,000 miles for free to watch for any problems that this may have caused.

I wanna see what they say

We should receive a letter from Mitsubishi stating that you have a recall. I will check with the dealership sometime this week

It seems like all the Mitsubishi dealership are not in tuned with the cars they sell. Mitsubishi needs to start cleaning house and getting rid of all the clowns they have at their dealerships before they go broke.

I will post up tomorrow and let everyone know what they say.

I am shooting for
a) the mech doesn't work on my car again
b)some future free maintenance
c) possible free service manuals

In regards to the letter. I have still not received any letter from Mits regarding the recall on my car, however, when they pulled my vin for the touchup paint it showed that I needed the recall.
