Which Rollcage To retain rear use
Im looking for a rollcage preferably a bolt on that retains use of the rear seats, doesnt have to be comfortable for the passangers but just useable. i dont want just a harness bar either....any ideas anyones? im gonna be putting down about 600whp, but dont want a full cage. maybe some pics would help, thanks for the help guys
cusco? im on the same boat. i have a new sparco harness bar but decided last minute to get a roll cage that would occupy rear people still. so far im looking at the cusco roll cage.
I had the same requirements, until everyone on the planet told me that putting passengers in the back with a roll bar is asking for trouble. After all, if you get into an accident, there's a nice bar there for them to smack with their heads... so I'm going to have TC Designs weld plates to the frame so that I can move the roll bar in an out if necessary... no bars for daily driving, only for the track.
I made this post in another thread, check it out

Go to your local race shop and get a custom job. You'll want the cage to be fitted not only to the car, but also to the driver. For example, the height of the harness bar relative to your shoulders is critical in high-speed impacts.
So, figure out what kind of racing you plan to do. Get a copy of the rule book for the sanctioning body. Then find a builder to fit you a custom cage that fits you and meets the regs for your race series. That's the only sensible way to go.
