Overloading causes damage!?

Do you think this is true? i had my transfercase replaced and after 1 week it started whining again cuz i carried a 5 people total in my car and drove around for a while...i noticed that it started whining when i heading home... any ideas about this? idk help me out guys

I haven't heard of that before... then again its hard to tell with how Mitsu covers up its recall claims.

Well I would check for leaks.. But you'd have to be driving around some mighty hefty passengers to overload the car..

idk...but it wasnt as loud as it was before... u can only hear it around 40 then at 80+
