Im picking up my Electric Blue IX today after work at Huntington Beach Mitsubishi.....i'll be sure to take lots of pics.

 

black IX looks dangerous...with the jdm bumper...

 

Yeah man those tail lights are almost exctly the same except for the long yellow blinker part at the bottom which appears to be clear/white on the USDM 9. I had wanted the white, but since I have seen the picks I think I'm sold on a black one now. Looks mean. The new Headlights should look really good on the black one too!

Here is a pic of the same Evo IX, the headlights are Chromed black, the UK Evo VIII MR's are flat black.

oh man, these Black Evo pics got me thinking of just holding off for the IX....

 

I want the IX, wheels, and compressor housing, so who wants some beat up, curb rashed VIII wheels?

 

I think I like everything on the IX better except the rims. The new ones might be lighter, but the Evo VIII's stock Enkeis look a little better. The new rims look busy IMHO.

Why is it so unbelievable he has the first IX? I really don't see any advantage to lying. He's just sharing the good news.

You accusing him of putting a IX series bumper on his VIII is a bit far fetched. By the same token i could photoshop a MIVEC symbol on to my valve cover.
